Delta APC Fixes March 3 for State Congress in Asaba

The (APC), Delta State chapter, has announced that its State Congress will hold on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Cenotaph along High Court Road.

The announcement was contained in a press statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary, , who disclosed that the congress will commence at 10 a.m.

According to the statement, the exercise is being convened in line with the party’s constitution and the approved guidelines for the conduct of nationwide congresses by the National Working Committee.

The party noted that the State Working Committee, under the leadership of the State Chairman, , has invited statutory delegates, critical stakeholders, and party leaders from across the state to participate in the congress.

Those expected to attend include the Governor and Deputy Governor, members of the National Advisory Council from Delta State, the State Chairman and members of the State Executive Committee, as well as all serving and past members of the National Assembly.

Also listed are members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), serving and former members of the Delta State House of Assembly, elected local government chairmen and their deputies, alongside all elected councillors across the state.

Furthermore, party chairmen, secretaries, and members of Local Government Area Executive Committees are expected to attend, along with five delegates per ward — including two women — zonal executive members, and ward executives such as the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Woman Leader, Youth Leader, and Special Leader from the state’s 270 wards.

The statement added that all leaders earlier invited to the Stakeholders’ Meeting of January 23, 2026, are also expected to be present.

The APC reaffirmed its commitment to its “Renewed Hope for M.O.R.E Agenda,” urging party faithful to turn out en masse for the state congress.
