Subi Lauds Oborevwori Over SUV, Hilux Gifts to Udu Monarch, Origbo; Commends Udu/ECN Road Approval.

The Ojiyovwi of Udu Kingdom and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State, Chief Sunday Subi, has expressed profound appreciation to the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his continuous show of goodwill and commitment to the development of Udu Kingdom.

Chief Subi specifically commended the Governor for the presentation of a brand new Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) to the Ovie of Udu Kingdom, Engr. Michael Ogheneovo Orugbo, JP, KP, Okporua I, describing the gesture as a demonstration of the Governor’s high regard for traditional institutions and their vital role in sustaining peace and grassroots governance.

He also applauded the Governor for gifting a brand new Toyota Hilux to an illustrious son of Udu Kingdom, Chief Alfred Agberia Origbo, the Secretary of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council to enhance his administrative efficiency and service delivery.

According to Chief Subi who is also a member of the Udu Traditional Council of Chiefs, the gestures are unprecedented and clearly reflect Governor Oborevwori’s inclusive leadership style and respect for traditional rulers across the state.

He congratulated the revered monarch of Udu Kingdom and Chief Origbo on what he described as “well-deserved recognitions,” noting that the developments have brought pride, honour, and renewed confidence to the entire Udu Kingdom.

Speaking further, the Ojiyovwi of Udu Kingdom expressed gratitude to the Governor for the gracious approval of the Udu/ECN Road project describing it as a landmark intervention that will significantly boost economic activities, ease transportation, and improve the overall quality of life of residents.
