WAIVE IS THE BEST HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES MEMBER UDU/UGHELLI SOUTH AND NORTH HAS PRODUCED SINCE DEMOCRACY — AYOMA

The Convener of Waive Return 2027 Movement and current spokesman of Unuoworun community in Iwhrekreka, Ughievwen Kingdom, Multiple Chief Freeborn Ayoma, has described the member representing Udu/Ughelli South/Ughelli North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. (Rev.) Francis Ejiroghene Waive, as the best lawmaker the constituency has produced since the return of democracy in 1999.
Chief Ayoma, while speaking with newsmen on Saturday during the final burial rites of the late Owhorode of Olomu Kingdom held at the Ibru Square, Ovwor, commended Hon. Waive for his uncommon accessibility, legislative vibrancy, and numerous developmental projects across the constituency.
According to Ayoma, “Since the inception of democracy, we have had representatives such as Hon. Agwariavwodo, Dr. Oghenechovwen, Hon. Awhinawhi, and Hon. Ogbaburhon. However, none of them have matched Hon. Francis Waive in terms of legislative performance, motions, accessibility to the people, and the number of projects attracted to our constituency.”
He further noted that Hon. Waive’s contributions in the National Assembly have set a new benchmark for effective representation, stressing that his return in 2027 would enable him to complete ongoing projects, including the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), the Midwifery School in Ughievwen, and several others in Effurun-Otor and Ughelli North.
“What Hon. Waive has done are too numerous to mention,” Ayoma said. “We are particularly grateful for his interventions in Udu, especially the fencing of the Aladja Primary School and other community-based projects that have touched lives directly.”
Chief Ayoma, who was accompanied to the burial by Hon. Chief Henry Abizor (Secretary, Ewu Traditional Council of Chiefs), Chief Clement Waka, Double Chief Avwirororuo Awusa (Iron Lady of Aladja), Chief Lucky Ejeimi, and several others, expressed gratitude to the people of Olomu for the befitting burial ceremony accorded their late monarch.
He also called on all political office holders, leaders, and stakeholders across Udu, Ughelli South, and Ughelli North to rally support for Hon. Francis Waive’s re-election bid, describing him as “a God-sent leader who has brought true dividends of democracy to the people.”
