Dr. Ojoede Urges Deltans to Participate in the Ongoing Voter Registration

Dr. Oritsegbegbemi Maurice Ojoede, Executive Assistant Political to the Governor of Delta State and Founder of the OMO Foundation, has called on Deltans to actively participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). This call particularly targets those who have yet to register.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen, Dr. Ojoede stressed the importance of voter registration, especially for individuals who have turned 18 since the last registration period in 2022. He encouraged them to ensure their registration so they can exercise their voting rights in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

“I wish to notify the general public that the ongoing Voter Card Registration Exercise is currently in progress,” Dr. Ojoede stated.

He continued, “The issue of voter registration is very important, and Deltans must take it seriously. All those who could not register before now should ensure that they are captured in the ongoing voter registration this time around.”

“This is a crucial opportunity for every eligible citizen to participate in shaping the future of our dear Delta State and Nation. Your Voter’s Card is your power; it is the key that gives you the right to decide the leadership and direction of our collective destiny.”

Dr. Ojoede further urged all Deltans and Nigerians, especially those who have reached voting age and those needing to update or replace their cards, to take full advantage of this registration process. “Remember, your vote is your voice, and your voice determines our future.”
