Ukodhiko Graces YAYA Convention, Emphasizes Godly Leadership Among Youth
The member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Pst. Ukodhiko Jonathan Ajirioghene, today attended the Youth Convention Programme of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Delta Province 15, at the provincial headquarters, Royal Mega Parish, Ozoro, Delta State.
The youth convention programme with theme; “A Living Landmark” designed to empower and equip youths to be Godly ambassadors and societal transformers, was put together by RCCG Young Adults and Youths Affairs, Delta Province 15 chapter, and had Hon. Ukodhiko as the guest speaker.
Delivering his sermon on the theme of the programme, Godly Youths and Leadership, Hon. Ukodhiko highlighted the attributes and roles of Godly youths and the unique perspective they bring into leadership.
“Let me begin by declaring this truth: the youths are not the leaders of tomorrow; they are the leaders of today. God is not waiting for you to grow older to use you. He is ready to use you now, right where you are, with what you have, and through who you are in Christ,” Hon. Ukodhiko stated as he began his sermon.
He referenced his teaching on the biblical characters ‘David and Daniel’ and emboldened the youths to be guided by Godly character while prioritising their faith and values and focusing on serving with humility, purpose, and love rather than seeking personal gains and applause.
Hon. Ukodhiko was joined in the programme by Hon. Bernard Odior, Member House of Assembly, representing Isoko North state constituency; Hon. Joseph Onojaeme, Honourable Commissioner for Health, Delta State; Dr. Paul Oweh, Chairman, Delta State Hospital Management Board; senior aide to Hon. Ukodhiko, Pst. Sunday Elueni; and Amb. Oreva Efenudu, SA to the Governor on youth mobilisation.
