2027: APC Delta South Endorsements Cement Tinubu, Oborevwori’s Path to Victory – Ukodhiko
The Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has described the endorsements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as sole candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a clear sign of victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Ukodhiko made the declaration on Friday during the Delta South APC Stakeholders/Unity Meeting held in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area, where President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori were officially endorsed and adopted as the party’s sole candidates.
According to Ukodhiko, “With the recent collapse of the entire structure of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, the All Progressives Congress now has total control of the Delta South Senatorial District and the state.
“Yes, the APC has an overwhelmingly formidable structure in Delta South Senatorial District to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, in the 2027 general elections.
“Therefore, the endorsements and adoption by the Delta South Senatorial District chapter of the party reflect the preference and choice of our people, signifying victory for the President, the Governor, and the APC at the polls.”
Hon. Ukodhiko further declared, “The Isoko I represent is fully in support of the Delta South APC’s endorsement of both the President and the Governor. We remain irrevocably committed to the triumph of the party and its candidates.”
The APC lawmaker also noted that the Isoko people have strong confidence in the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, citing his commitment to good governance and the overall progress of Delta State.
“Our amiable Governor continues to meet the expectations of the Isoko people, whose hopes have been renewed for more development and empowerment from both the state and federal governments,” Ukodhiko stated.
