2027: Vote Only Those Who Mean Well for Urhobo — Tako Charges Electorates

By Fidelix Umukoro

The Founder of Team Tako 4 Oyibode-Oputu and renowned grassroots mobilizer, Comrade Tako Oshogheme Daniel, popularly known as the Mayor of Udu, has called on the Urhobo people to elect only candidates who genuinely have the interest and development of Urhoboland at heart in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

Speaking during a telephone interview with The Urhobo Voice, Tako emphatically endorsed Chief (Dr.) Obiuwevbi Ominimini, a frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency, describing him as the most qualified and credible to represent the constituency in the green chamber come 2027.

“Ominimini has paid his dues in both the socio-economic and political development of the Urhobo nation. He is tried, tested, and trusted. The Urhobo people must shine their eyes and vote for capable and competent candidates who will bring tangible development and defend the collective interest of our people,” he stated.

Tako, who is widely respected for his political foresight and community engagement, urged the constituents to rally around Chief Ominimini, noting that the constituency deserves a representative with a proven track record, vast experience, grassroots connection, and sincere commitment to public service.

“We need vibrant, effective, and influential politicians to galvanize Urhobo into national relevance. Let us vote for those with grassroots orientation, integrity, and dedication to the people’s welfare,” Tako said.

Highlighting Ominimini’s deep-rooted involvement in Delta State and national politics, Tako asserted that electing him in 2027 would guarantee quality and impactful representation that would attract the dividends of democracy to Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu.

“There are selfish politicians in Urhoboland who only pursue personal gains with no plans for our collective growth. We must stop them in 2027. It is time to change the narrative and elect those who are ready to serve and deliver results,” he concluded.

Tako’s call is already generating renewed political consciousness among voters in the federal constituency, as the 2027 elections draw closer.
